Support
Stuck on something, or worried about someone you met on Moodzy? This page covers what people ask us most, and how to reach a real person when the answer isn't here.
Call 112, India's emergency number, before anything else. Then tell us, so we can act on our end.
01Contact us
Email support@moodzy.club and a person will reply. You can get there from the app too: tap the You tab, then the gear icon, and choose Contact support.
It helps to tell us your username or the phone number your account uses, what you were trying to do, and roughly when it went wrong. A screenshot helps too. Nobody from Moodzy will ever ask for your sign-in code, so don't share it with anyone who does.
- Help with the app: support@moodzy.club
- Your data and privacy: privacy@moodzy.club
- Formal complaints under Indian law, and child-safety reports: grievance@moodzy.club (see our Grievance page)
02Report someone or something
If someone or something on Moodzy breaks our Community Guidelines, report it in the app. Reports go straight to our moderation team, and the person you report isn't told it was you.
- A person, or their photos - open their profile, tap the menu at the top and choose Report this person.
- A plan - open it, tap the menu at the top and choose Report this event.
- A chat message - press and hold the message, then tap Report message.
- A Pulse post - tap the menu on the post and choose Report this post. For a comment, press and hold it and choose Report this reply.
You'll be asked to pick the reason that fits best, like harassment, spam, a fake profile or a meetup that feels unsafe. If a child could be at risk, choose Underage or child safety. There's no box for typing details, so if there's more we should know, email grievance@moodzy.club as well.
Moodzy has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We remove content that breaks our rules, and we suspend or permanently ban the accounts behind it.
03Block someone
If you want someone out of your way, block them. Open their profile, tap the menu at the top and choose Block, or open your 1:1 chat with them, tap the menu and block them from there.
Once you've blocked someone:
- they can't message you or invite you to anything;
- they can't join or see your plans;
- they can't see your Pulse posts and comments, and theirs disappear from your Pulse.
Blocking doesn't remove someone from the map entirely. If you'd rather not be seen, turn on Ghost mode or change Who can see you in Settings. You can unblock people anytime from Blocked accounts in Settings.
04In an emergency
If you or someone else is in danger, call 112 straight away. It's India's emergency number for police, fire and ambulance. Moodzy's team can't send anyone to you, so please don't wait on us.
If you're at a plan and something feels off, open the plan, tap the menu at the top and choose Get help. It's there for plans you've joined or are hosting, while they're on and for a few hours after. Get help:
- alerts Moodzy's safety team with your live location and any note you add, and
- gives you a private link to your live location to send to someone you trust, so they can follow where you are.
Anyone with the link can see your location until it expires, after 24 hours at most, or until you tap Stop sharing my location on the Get help screen.
If a child is in danger, call 112. You can also reach Childline on 1098. Our Child Safety page explains how to report it to us.
05Delete your account
Tap the You tab, then the gear icon to open Settings, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. Once you confirm, your account is deleted straight away, including your profile, photos, the plans you host, your messages and everything you've uploaded, and you're signed out. It can't be undone.
Can't get into the app? Email support@moodzy.club with the phone number your account uses. Business accounts can't be deleted in the app yet, so email us for those too. Our account deletion page has the full details, including what we keep and why.
06Common questions
Why does Moodzy only work with Indian (+91) numbers?
Moodzy is only available in India right now. You sign in with a one-time code sent by SMS, and we only send those to Indian mobile numbers, so you'll need a +91 number to get in.
Why does Moodzy want my location?
Moodzy is a map of what's happening around you, so it uses your phone's location, only while the app is open, to show plans and people nearby. You don't have to allow it. Without location you can still search for any city and browse what's on there, and you can change your mind anytime in your phone's settings.
Who can see my location?
In the app, other people never see your exact spot on the map. They see a position shifted by up to about 400 metres, and you decide who sees even that: in Settings, Who can see you lets you choose everyone nearby, people at plans you join, your connections, or nobody. Ghost mode hides you from the map and discovery for as long as you like.
A few things are exact on purpose: a plan's location, a location pin you choose to send in a chat, and a Get help link, which shows your live location to whoever you send it to. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly how this works.
How do I control notifications?
Tap the You tab, then the gear icon, and scroll to Notifications. You can turn each kind on or off, like messages, event updates, people nearby, promos near you and announcements, and Mute all silences everything at once. We only send promotional notifications, like Moodzy news or catch-ups on what you missed, if you've opted in. You can also turn off Moodzy's notifications in your phone's settings.
